I woke up the morning of Megan and Jamie’s wedding- and it was pouring outside. Whenever I open the curtains, see the rain and know I’m shooting a wedding, my heart skips a beat. I always feel so bad for the couple. On that one day. Seriously! Why? I prepared myself to tell Megan that everything was going to be okay. I wanted to promise her with everything inside of me, that she WILL have awesome photos and everything will be better that she can imagine. On my way to the room where Megan was getting ready; I heard giggles and laughter and I instantly smiled. It was the noises of some very excited girls. They were beyond excited, and so it should be! They were all smiling and giggling and Megan had the biggest smile of them all. There was no need for me to tell her that everything is going to be okay in spite of the pouring rain. Because she was in the moment. She was getting married. It was her and Jamie’s big day and that’s all that mattered! Their wedding turned out to be just beautiful- with a HUGE rainbow appearing shortly after the ceremony. Congrats you two!! ~Jacqui
